Retirement is for sissies

Screen Shot 2020-01-23 at 6.04.57 PMIt’s been well over 4 years since my last post…not sure how many people this will reach. But, the time has come to officially announce my UN-retirement from the art world. This world has served me well and I know that my participation has helped many artists come to a new understanding of their career development. I am so proud of all the work I have done, all the great shows we did at the gallery, and all of my participation in developing the art community in Ventura. So many great memories that I will cherish forever. But, after two (successful) brain surgeries, I took a few years off and moved to Austin, Texas to be a fulltime G’ma.  Now that Deuce is 5, I am back in California.  I did a trial run with a little pop up gallery in an historic shopping area in Agoura Hills, near my home.  It was so much fun and so successful, I recently signed a one year lease…so I guess I’ll be around for a while longer.  realART was designed with the idea of giving artists a professional place to show their work, without having to worry about the hassles of sales and marketing. We have a large gallery space and a smaller (15′x15′) private room that I am making available for solo exhibitions and installations.  Check out our website and come by and visit if you are in the area…whatisrealART.com
