Artist Submissions

Sylvia White Gallery maintains a museum quality exhibition calendar from September-June.  All of the work we show/sell is on loan from other galleries, museums, collectors, or in our private inventory. Occasionally, we also invited noted art professionals to guest curate exhibitions. We do not represent artists on an ongoing basis, exhibit emerging artists, or consider artist submissions during this time period.  However, each summer and winter, we offer an exhibition opportunity to all emerging, mid career or established  artists interested in applying. The Summer Juried Show  is curated by Sylvia White.  Our winter show, Collectors’ Choice is guest curated by a selection of our collectors. You can check out our exhibition schedule and past juried show winners HERE.

The application period for the Summer Juried Show opens each year on March 30, deadline is June 30 at midnight CMT

Exhibition dates: August 1-September 6, 2014

Opening reception: Saturday, August 2, 3-5pm

In 2010, we initiated Collectors’ Choice. For this exhibition, Sylvia White has invited 15 of the gallery’s best collectors to review the artist submissions and select their favorite work. This gives artists the opportunity to put their work in front of real art collectors. It gives us an exciting way to start each new year with a fresh perspective of new talent.   Each collector will select one or more pieces by artists that are not currently represented in their private collection. Collectors names will be kept anonymous until the opening reception.

The application period for Collectors’ Choice opens this year on December 1, 2013, deadline is February 28 at midnight CMT
